Olesea Ceaicovschi is a businesswoman, owner, and manager of several companies, mainly in the maritime industry. She believes that being a good entrepreneur is an innate quality, a talent, and a specific mindset. In her opinion, people who achieve great success are those who can accomplish multiple tasks faster than others, overcome circumstances, and never give up. “The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling but in rising every time we fall,” she asserts.
In 2022, Olesea won the Red Diamond Award, an annual recognition for women in Cyprus for outstanding achievements in business, culture, art, charity, etc. The award was presented to her by the former First Lady of Cyprus, Mrs. Andri Anastasiades.
In 2023, Olesea won the Person of the Year award in “Successful Moldavian Business People Abroad”.
Olesea’s greatest inspiration in life is her family, which, as she says, empowers her and makes her believe in herself more and more. Successfully balancing work and motherhood, she confesses, “I cherish every day seeing my daughter grow into a happy and mannered young lady.”
Her husband, a renowned captain and crew manager for one of the world’s largest maritime companies, has guided her in the industry for the past 10 years. They work together, and, in Olesea’s own words, it has never been an easy challenge, but she feels like the two of them are creating a beautiful legacy together.
Olesea’s talents and passions span various fields. Born in Moldova, she moved to the UK in 2004 to develop her career in the creative industry. By then, already a well-known music artist in her home country with extensive singing and dancing experience, she topped Moldova’s national chart multiple times and participated in selecting a country’s entry for the Eurovision Song Contest. In the UK, Olesea engaged in diverse art projects, including charitable ones. She performed in the musical “One Blood” at various London venues and showcased her talents on TV and radio in Moldova, the UK, Cyprus, and other countries.
Now, as a busy owner of her companies, Olesea continues embracing her musical passion. She occasionally sings at different events, thrilling the audience every time. Overall, she has dedicated about 36 years of her life to music and performing.
